Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid consulting engagements with Workspace Corner for travel demand forecasting, booking pattern reviews, route studies, and commercial briefing days. Website browsing is free; there is no product checkout on this Site.

Eligibility

Refunds relate only to fees paid under a signed engagement letter. Informational fee tables on the Site are not invoices.

Timeframe

Written cancellation or refund requests must be emailed to info@workspace-corner.click within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation before kickoff, or notice of a deliverable dispute after delivery).

Full refund

If you cancel in writing before we begin data hygiene work and before any kickoff call has occurred, we refund 100% of fees paid for that engagement, less any non-recoverable third-party venue deposit expressly approved by you in writing.

Partial refund

If you cancel after kickoff but before delivery of the draft forecast or study, we refund the unused portion of the fee after deducting time already worked at the rates stated in the engagement letter, with a minimum retained amount of 40% of the engagement fee to cover scoping and data preparation.

Non-refundable items

• Completed final briefs and delivered spreadsheet tables.
• Briefing days that have already been held.
• Approved third-party printing or venue costs once ordered.
• The non-refundable portion of deposits expressly labelled as such in the engagement letter.

Work already started

Once data hygiene or analysis has started, fees for completed stages are earned. We will itemise remaining stages if you pause or cancel mid-engagement.

Deposits

A typical deposit is 40% on acceptance. Deposits are applied to the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable after the kickoff call unless we cancel the engagement.

Cancellation by Workspace Corner

If we cannot complete an engagement for reasons within our control, we refund fees for undelivered stages in full.

Rescheduling

Briefing dates may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of HKD 1,500 or actual venue change costs, whichever is higher.

No-shows

If your attendees do not join a confirmed briefing without at least one business day’s notice, the briefing fee is charged in full. We will offer one courtesy reschedule within 30 days at half the original briefing fee if capacity allows.

Refund process and timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of written approval. Bank transfers may take additional time depending on your institution.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under Hong Kong law that cannot be excluded remain available. This policy does not cover services we do not offer, such as software licences or physical merchandise.
